Coffee shop

The Gateway Coffee shop is bright, airy, tastefully decorated and offers table service. The menu is varied and customers can have a range of teas and coffees with freshly made scones and pancakes, as well as home bakes and filled rolls in the morning.

Home made soup and a range of sandwiches, salads, baked potatoes and paninis are available. A wonderful range of homebakes, meringues and strawberry tarts are also made fresh each day. Included in our range are products which are fairtrade and we support local suppliers wherever possible.

The building is fully accessible and caters for all ages. A special children's corner is a hit with the very young who can draw and play with a variety of toys before exploring their Jungle Lion Lunch Box.

The coffee shop is manned by a team of volunteers who are always willing to spend time ensuring that customers needs are fully met.

We are sure that you will have a pleasant and enjoyable visit to Gateway@Credo which is open Monday to Friday, 9.45am to 4.15pm. Many of our regular customers love the personal service and peaceful ambiance.

CLC is a missionary organization made up of individuals from many denominations. We are bound together by a common purpose: we wish to see people come to faith and maturity in the Lord Jesus Christ, and consequently believe that evangelical literature can be an essential part in this process.

In Matthew 28 when Jesus commissioned His followers, He asked them to make disciples and to teach them to observe what He had told them. In Romans 12, Paul cautions us not to be conformed to this world but instead to be transformed by the renewing of our minds. In both cases, we are to learn new ways of doing things, and to be taught new practices in keeping with our faith. We feel that Bibles, books, CDs, DVDs, and teaching materials are important ways to reinforce what we are taught in our churches. In our bookshops, we also find that interaction with customers can result in encouraging one another, praying for each other’s needs, and even someone coming to know Jesus for the first time. There has been a slogan bouncing around CLC for some years, “Just a drop of ink can make a million think.”

We feel God has commissioned us to make available materials that make people think and lead them to Jesus Christ.
